Changes at inSite
As inSite continues to grow we want to ensure that all of our resources are aligned in order to best serve our tenants, employees and to best leverage our talent to work with key partners. With this in mind the Board determined that effective January 1, 2011 Carole Holmes will take over from Robin Oldring as Chair of inSite’s Board of Directors. inSite’s Board took this strategic decision to free Carole from day to day operational matters in order for her to devote dedicated time to growing the Company. As Chair of the Board Carole will oversee the functioning of the Board, be involved in project construction and development, support operations in special projects and continue her work with the Societies at mentorship sites.
Robin has become inSite’s President, reporting to the Board he will have the overall responsibility for oversight, implementation, execution and evaluation of the corporate strategic plan. Robin will supervise the executive management team and inSite’s Leadership Team and will be responsible for overall operational performance including inSite’s assisted living, complex care and supportive housing sites. InSite’s Leadership Team will report directly to Robin.
Wendy Millar’s job title has changed to Operations Manager and she has day to day responsibility for all assisted living and supportive housing sites. This means that all site leaders report to Wendy effective January 1, 2011.
Ken Hoy will continue to be CFO and will report to the President.
Johann Burger who has been a director for a couple of years has now assumed the role of Vice-President Business Development, bringing a clear depth of development skill to our team. Johann is responsible for leading the planning, design development, construction / acquisition, procurement and delivery of capital projects as identified in the company’s strategic plan. Johann will report to the President.
